June has been a busy month for training here at Rapid EPS.

We started the month delivering our EPF operatives’ course to site managers and site engineers of Sir Robert McAlpine on site in Leeds. This was to give them an understanding of how the equipment should be installed and the standards required. We are confident they now have the knowledge to maintain a good standard and identify any hazards on their site going forward.

Towards the middle of the month, we had the pleasure of apprentices from IDH attending the EPF operative course at our training centre in Leeds. this will hopefully give them a good understanding of Edge Protection as they start their design careers in construction.

This was also followed by Westport Equipment our Irish distributor attending our 2-day instructor course. After attending the 2 days they will now be able to deliver Rapid EPS Project Specific Training in Ireland.

This will hopefully help drive up the standard of installations in Ireland and reduce the risks of falls from height.

Finally, towards the end of the month, we had an array of site managers, supervisors, engineers and a health & safety manager from Caunton Engineering join us in Leeds. We delivered our EPF operatives course to them which will help them select the correct application for their projects along with maintaining a good standard of installation and identifying any potential hazards.

Well done to all delegates who have passed our courses this month.
