In order to conform to the requirements laid down in the standard for Temporary Edge Protection Systems known as: BS EN 13374:2013+A1:2018, the members of the Edge Protection Federation have carried out rigorous testing and close final inspection of their solutions before releasing them to the construction industry.
The components making up the systems have been individually tested and approved by the edge protection provider and have been proven to meet the standard required for the Finished Solution.
Any deviation from the proven and tested finished solution will not be the responsibility of the manufacturer and, in the event of an incident, this could result in serious consequences for the individuals involved.
