RAPID EPS is pleased to announce its expansion from 460m2 (5000ft2) square foot production facility back in 2009 to some 3900m2(42,000ft2) today.
The company is operating from two adjacent buildings, with the space slit into several areas:
- 1700m2 (18,000ft2) of production area and offices
- 740m2 (8,000ft2) of assembly / final inspection and packaging
- 1000m2 ( 11,000ft2) of outside storage and loading areas
Also about to open is RAPID EPS’s 460 m2 (5000ft2) demonstration and training facility. Showing the company’s range of edge protection products on two storey structure in both concrete and steel, the area will also be a demonstration area for Rapid’s new products for cross laminate timber buildings.
This development will also enable RAPID to offer In house training courses on RAPID’s range of edge protection systems for the construction industry. Visitors can also visit the training area to see live dynamic testing of the system to BSEN 13374:2013, Class B and Class A standards.
