Edge Protection Federation Managers Training Course
Edge Protection is an industry that has already seen great changes in the emerging innovative edge protection solutions available today, including their installation methods. In this fast-changing environment, the EPF has an important role in providing industry guidance.
The Edge Protection Federation Manager Course delivers the core elements from the Code of Practice and the Standard for Edge Protection Systems known as:
- BS EN 13374: 2013+A1: 2018 and safe working methods on leading edges.
More time is spent identifying hazards often seen on edge protection systems due to poor installation, tampering and adjustment. The course is designed to enable those managing sites with edge protection systems installed, to carry out weekly inspections and identify when and where corrective action is required.
- English language and basic ability to read/understand the multiple-choice test paper
You will be required to fill out a short written multiple-choice question paper. This gives a clear indication of delegates understanding of the training material delivered.
When the test is passed, the course delegates are issued with a paper certificate and EPF Training Card. Delegates also undertake hazard identification training in our purpose built training centre.
By evidencing the EPF Edge Protection Manager Card and the manufacturer-specific training has been undertaken, delegates are able to obtain a CSCS Blue Skilled Worker, EPF Edge Protection Card, renewable after five years by re-training.
